Fresh look for Flexischools App

This was the first major refresh of Flexischools’ app ordering process since the mobile app was launched in 2019.

The updated look for the Flexischools ordering screens have also been released on the Flexischools web application.

“Around 95% of Flexischools users order using the mobile application, so making this user experience simple and easy is always a priority for us,” explained Peter Hong, Flexischools’ Head of Product and Experience.

For parents, the Flexischools app brings incredible convenience, and means they can order school lunches, or items like book packs and uniforms for their student at a time and place that suits them.

“We know that most parents order via the Flexischools app in the morning, so being a part of those routines is a privilege that we take very seriously,” Peter added.

For families, this is a busy time, getting ready for school, and work, packing bags to race out the door.

“Parents love Flexischools, because it means they can order, and pay in seconds via the Flexischools app, whenever they need, wherever they are.

“Whether a parent is pre-ordering a weeks’ worth of lunches on a Sunday evening for a busy week ahead, or placing a quick order on a Friday morning, we want to make sure our app is intuitive.

“These updates make the ordering screens simpler and cleaner, with more modern-looking fonts, colours and design,” Peter explained.

“They are just the first step in refreshing the Flexischools app experience for our customers, and we will continue to introduce updates that are guided by what our customers want, and deliver a modern and helpful service.”
